I want to start by giving a huge thank-you to Ribbons & Glue and Crafts 'n Coffee for letting me share their projects on ABM Fashion Sourcing Inc.'s Blog. Check out our September Blogs of the Month post for some great D.I.Y. Fall decor that will look beautiful all season long.
Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays and there is definitely no shortage of amazing Halloween D.I.Y. projects! From handcrafted costumes to spooky decorations, October is a great month for crafters of all levels and ages to explore their creativity. This month's featured blogger has some really fun and unique Halloween D.I.Y. projects that I would love to share with you!
The Crafty Mummy has all sorts of imaginative sewing, crochet, stitching, quilting, and -of course- craft ideas. Her Button Pumpkin Tutorial is one of many adorable projects on her site. I absolutely love this project because it's so simple and versatile! Ironically, her Halloween-themed D.I.Y. may be one of the least scary projects to try if you're new to crafting. If you're a little more advanced or if you want to really let your creativity shine, you can even customize the project with different colored buttons, playing with different button sizes, or even adding beads to the wire. The possibilities are endless!
As if these little pumpkins aren't already cute enough, The Crafty Mummy also has a tutorial to make matching Button Witch Hats. You can use these as little decorations, play a Pumpkin and Witches Hats Game, or even add them to Halloween goody bags. These simple little Halloween button crafts are sure to get you in the spooky spirit and are great for adults and kids alike!
Uh oh! Don't have any orange or black buttons? Well don't fret because you can dye buttons. All of the white and wood buttons featured below can be dyed using this tutorial here from Rit. Even add some wood buttons for an interesting texture. Click on each picture to get your buttons in different sizes and make this featured Halloween D.I.Y project!
